Michał Mroczka

Michał Mroczka is a talented artist born in 1984 in Lipnica in Podkarpacie. After graduating from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Rzeszów in 2004, he developed his skills at the Faculty of Art of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where in 2009 he obtained a diploma in painting.

Since 2007, he has been actively participating in the artistic life of Poland. His contribution to culture is multidimensional. He is the co-founder of the Independent Academy of Frenetics and the autonomous Kamienica Cudów gallery in Lublin. His involvement in the Pracownia Otwarta Association in Lublin and work on a model of pre-war Warsaw for the Kamienica Theater indicate his deep interest in history and culture.

Mroczka is the winner of many prestigious awards and distinctions, including the Golden Leaf Retro Special Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. His works were finalists in numerous competitions, including the Art Confrontations of the Masovian Institute of Culture and the Painting Competition. L. Wyczółkowski.

His work covers a variety of topics, from paratroopers to depictions of cities and scenes from everyday life. His paintings, full of expression and deep meaning, have gained recognition not only in Poland, but also internationally, which is confirmed by his participation in many foreign exhibitions, including Art Vancouver in Canada and EMP Gallery in Tokyo.

Michał Mroczka is also active on the local art scene, organizing and participating in numerous individual and group exhibitions. His exhibitions, such as “Tropical City” in Lublin or “Times of Anxiety” in Warsaw, are very popular with both critics and art lovers.
