Tomasz Koclęga – Master of Form and Emotion

Born in 1968, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (1993). Tomasz Koclęga is an extremely important figure in the world of contemporary figurative sculpture. His artistic education took place at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, which initiated his rich artistic career. Today, he is a valued lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, and has also served as a guest lecturer at universities in Finland, the United States and the Czech Republic.

Creativity Based on Human Nature

Koclęga focuses his artistic interests on human nature, examining desires, emotions, possibilities and dreams. His sculptures, often deformed, are full of emotional and intellectual content, allowing viewers to deeply discover the human essence. These silent gestures in his works become a form of expression of universal values.

Monumental Sculptures and International Recognition

Koclęga has created numerous monumental sculptures that decorate public spaces in various parts of the world, including Saint Louise (USA), New Delhi (India), Vilnius (Lithuania), and Bytom and Katowice. His largest work, “Inner Balance” from 2020, cast in 6.5 tons of bronze, is the culmination of his work to date.

Intimate Bronze Sculptures

In addition to monumental works, the artist also creates smaller, intimate bronze sculptures, characterized by dynamics and expression. These works, often combining bronze with other materials such as glass, stones, wood or gold, are an expression of Koclęga’s constant search for new artistic paths.

Snow Art Poland Leader and International Awards

Tomasz Koclęga is also the leader of the artistic group Snow Art Poland, specializing in snow sculpture. This team has gained international recognition, receiving numerous awards in snow sculpture competitions around the world.

Presence at the International Art Fair

Koclęga is a regular participant of international art fairs, presenting his works mainly on Asian markets. His works are recognized in countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and India.

Cooperation with Galleries and Design Offices

The artist cooperates with many renowned art galleries and design offices, especially in India, but also in Seoul, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Warsaw, Wrocław and Krakow. His works are appreciated by both collectors and the general public.
